- The graphic design of the assembly line shall ensure the shortest transportation route of parts, convenient operation of production workers, convenient work of auxiliary service departments and the most effective use of production area, and consider the interconnection between assembly lines. In order to meet these requirements, the form and installation of the assembly line should be considered in the plane layout of the assembly line the arrangement method of the installation site.
The arrangement of working places during assembly line installation shall comply with the process route. When the process has more than two working places, the arrangement method of working places in the same process shall be considered. Generally, when there are two or more even number of similar working places, the double row arrangement shall be considered, which shall be divided into two cases of the transportation route. However, when a worker takes care of multiple equipment, it should be considered to make the distance of movement of workers as short as possible.
